At Modo, we source our leather exclusively from Leather Working Group (LWG) certified tanneries, globally recognised for meeting the highest standards in environmental responsibility. These tanneries are carefully audited for water usage, energy efficiency, waste management, and chemical control, ensuring that every hide is processed with reduced environmental impact and full transparency across the supply chain.
The leather we use is also a by-product of the food industry, meaning no animals are raised for their hides alone. By utilising existing materials that would otherwise go to waste, we extend their life cycle and transform them into durable products designed to last for years.
Renewable by Nature, Responsibly Made.
Every Modo bag is finished with a luxurious micro eco-suede lining made from vegan materials. This soft, durable interior offers the feel of traditional suede while maintaining a lighter environmental footprint. The lining is designed to enhance both comfort and longevity, ensuring that each bag is as thoughtful on the inside as it is on the outside.
